Have you ever heard about the adage “when it rains, it pours?” Some of you are reading this and thinking yes, of course! Well, I’m used to hearing this phrase especially when something good or bad is happening in your life. It also usually happens more than once or twice over a short period of time.
For my case, it’s actually something good because I’m in a HUGE transition. God is taking me from one place to another and it’s overwhelmingly exciting at the same time. Something is taking a major shift in my life that makes God want me to write this and maybe this will encourage you as you read through how God works in mysterious ways.
Today, marks the beginning of our annual convention which reminds me of so many things that happened last year by this time. November 2015, I had a miscarriage and it was devastating for my family. While this happened, my husband was licensed as a pastor. I shared my testimony to so many women at a conference that I attended with my mom and my mother in law during this month. God spoke to me to share my testimony on December 31st during our Watchnight Service. I gave a testimony and God told me that eyes have not seen nor ears heard what I’m about to do in your life. Fast forward to January 2016 I found out that I was pregnant. Things were just moving so fast that I was blown away by what God was doing.
At the beginning of our annual convention, I’m here with our beautiful daughter. Sometimes when things are happening in your life and you feel like there’s no hope, just know that God is always there with you. He knows your end from the beginning and nobody on earth can change that about you but God. God turns your test to become a testimony. Sometimes having it rain in our lives is actually a good thing because God is pouring His blessings on earth and you want His blessings to pour down on you like never before.
I want you to feel encouraged today and I pray that as it rains in your life, abundant blessings are pouring like never before. Don’t feel like rainy days always have to come with bad packages. Hope you stay blessed and in waiting for your rainy days to come.
Have you ever had a moment when it rained and poured at the same time? Share your comments below and I’m excited to hear your testimony as well. Please make sure to tag #adakuinspires at the end of your comment.
