An Opportunity To Remember

This picture says a lot because I’m am so thankful to embark on an opportunity that is pretty BIG. I can’t say so much about it yet but hopefully very very soon I’ll share it with you guys so keep following me on this adventurous ride.

Sometimes God has a sense of humor. He knows what’s best for you even though we tend to be impatient at times. It’s been a roller coaster for the past couple of weeks and all we know best is to trust God during the process. You can never figure it all out but it’s all part of the process. All I can say is that I’m definitely growing in my relationship with God. As I continue to grow in Him, I’m seeing that doors that are beyond my wildest dreams begin to open and unfold.

I’m here to encourage you that nobody is finding it perfect and easy. You’re not alone and I’m a living testimony of that. Learn to trust God with ALL of your heart and your own doors and opportunities will begin to open.

Thankful Thursday

It’s never a dull moment when these two meet up! We did a spontaneous meeting at the library. We thought the kids were going to grab a book, sit quietly and enjoy the time as we read to them but NOOOOO! That plan got tossed straight out the window. They got there, immediately started playing with the toys and pretended to have a puppet show.

And, as if that wasn’t enough, they wanted to play with the blocks and then go to potty.

Both of them are potty trained and all we can say is “Hallelujah, it’s such a relief.” Every now and then my toddler does have accidents but, for the most part, she’s got the hang of it. I’ll save that for a later blog because it was a lot potty training her but hard work pays off. Anyway, the girls felt they’ve had a long day so they decided to take a break and put food in their stomachs lol. Don’t worry the other two little ones weren’t just watching them. They ate too and life was good.

Afterwards, they both picked out couple of books to read

and then it was time to go home. They held each other’s hands and walked out the library. How cute is that picture?

You could see the smiles on people’s faces as the walked out going to the parking lot. Lydia is so sweet giving Kizzy kisses and Kizzy knows how to act like she doesn’t want it but, once we get in the car, she’s crying and asking about Lydia! She’ll make a great actress!

Five minutes after we drove off, Kizzy took a good three hour nap and it was beautiful. I will be forever grateful to have friends who have kids that are Kizzy’s age group.

Thankful Thursday

Happy three months baby girl! Wow, could you believe it’s been three months already? Time does fly by really quickly but I am so grateful for every step of the way. Promise is such a pure joy even though she doesn’t smile a lot, we are camera ready for when we get that smile. Today, not only did she give me a smile, she gave me a big smile and that made my day. 

At three months, she is eating very well. She sleeps through the night and every now and then she would wake up for a feed but rarely. She’s growing bigger and becoming more aware everyday. She loves to be around people especially her big sister, Kizzy. She loves getting kisses from her as well. She is starting to gaze into my eyes and mumble somethings that I don’t understand and I mumble right back at her 🙂 She is such a strong girl and she’s already standing strong when you hold her hands. Her head is holding up very nicely and she enjoys taking baths. Sometimes she sleeps while in the baby bathtub. 

Overall, Promise is a very calm baby who doesn’t stress anybody out. Once you change her diaper and feed her, she will enjoy sleeping peacefully. Join me in showing her some love because I am forever thankful to have my Promise.

Hello there! I guess I would say the secret is finally out, right? What Adaku has been working on is now going LIVE!!!.
