Poppin In Fall

Howdy lovelies, it’s been a great week at the Ikotuns house considering we’ve both been so wrapped up in preparation of our eternity play coming up in two weeks. We are extremely busy during this period but it’s worth every minute of it. Recently I got an opportunity to style one of my good friends and she really loved the styles that I picked out. I wrote about the first set of styles last Thursday so, if you missed it, make sure you check it out here. This will be the second set of styles so be on the lookout for the third sets lol

So with this style, I paired this beautiful off shoulder white dress with a choker and a bold gold stud earrings. As we’ve just entered into Fall season, I wanted a little bit of pop color so I went with mint green shoes. This was a gorgeous pick and I was happy with the turn out. She herself couldn’t even believe it and she was ecstatic about this style. As you can see from the picture, she just can’t help herself with her strutting!

Thankful Thursday

Hello lovelies,

I had a wonderful opportunity to style a friend who wanted a casual look for running errands and potentially switching to heels for a date night. I know Fall is almost here but I’m still not ready so let’s make the most of it while it’s still nice.

For the first look, I paired this pop blue blazer and brown tanks with a white destroyed pants alongside with some loafers to brighten up the entire outfit. I really like the whole outfit because it’s for someone looking to dress casual but yet still look stylish.

Now, if you’re thinking of going on a date that evening, then I’d throw some heels which I did here. It changes the look to make it even more classier. I love the details on the blazer. Those military buttons goes really well with the style and I’m glad I matched it with the flats.

I’m thankful for friends who support and invest in your growing business. I had a blast shooting this and I would do it again.

Flirty white dress in Sherwood Garden

Good morning Loves! Hope you are having a wonderful day. Well, today’s blog is about my visit to a beautiful garden called Sherwood Herb Garden. It is so serene and picturesque. My sister and I made an impromptu turn into this garden One Sunday after church and we were both blown away by the atmosphere. As always, we both came up with tons of ideas and spots to take pictures lol. I couldn’t enjoy this garden to myself so I dragged hubby along with me and we took some shots. I love the pictures he took! 

It was quite a beautiful day so I wore this striped white dress that I got from a local boutique to the garden. I love this outfit because of how simple but elegant it looks. It’s a long sleeve with ruffles attached to it. I paired it with this vintage white purse. You can dress it up with heels or down with tennis shoes. Whichever way suits your style, just be confident wearing it. Hubby loves how it looks on me because he said it’s flirty! As we walked around, we found this old school bell in the middle of the garden and we thought it was cool to take a picture with. 

I’m very thankful for my dress and the fact that I didn’t have to break an arm and leg to rock it. Comment below and tell me if you’re one of those that sees an outfit that you like and you immediately look for places to wear it to and take a picture! LOL!
